What's the difference between NAD+, NMN, and NR?
NAD+ is the active coenzyme. NMN (nicotinamide mononucleotide) and NR (nicotinamide riboside) are precursors that the body converts to NAD+. Oral supplementation typically uses precursors since NAD+ itself has limited oral bioavailability.
Why do NAD+ levels decline with age?
